I'm back! More or less.
*crushes everyone in bear hug* Come on my ample bosom, girls! ^^ I missed you all. (And my perverted self missed you so much much more. ^.~) I'm gonna read through all your posts asap! :3

Firstly, even though I'm few days too late, but anyway. Happy New Year, everybody!
I wanted to post here sooner, but ... you surely know, hectic time, laziness, family, laziness, learning for exams, laziness, illness, and all those stuff.

January is really important month to me. Not only it's my birthsday on 28th (and OMG, I'm turning 23 this year). Mostly, this month still feels festive, and people are trying to keep up with own New Years resolutions, so they are trying to be nice. Nicer. They mostly will falter after few weeks, but anyway.
And, as usuall, I went down with a flu.
But also I like this month 'cause I usually have a lot of free-ish time. Yet I'm more than terribly lazy, so I'm just plotting various plotlines without actually making any notes. Those which will remain in my mind are the most persistent plotbunnies ever, deserving to be written! One Hell of a persistent plotbunnies, I tell you. XD

aaand, as a small bonus, here is the delayed Picture of the Month for January 2013 )

NO, dear Kinkmeme, I din't forgot about you.
I swear.
It's just ... I'm soooooooooooooo busy. (And I enjoy it immensely. ^^)

One could have thought that when there is no school, I would have some time to myself [read as some time to write and just doing nothing], but that's not the case. Since I don't know what shall I sod it, it's have to do first.

So, all gifts are wrapped up. And I've done it all by myself. Why do I wrap all gifts? A - it's fun. Trust me. I'm that kind of girl who is able to play with and pick endlessly the decorated wraping paper / ribbons (that s it there for a reason) / label card and gift and make them all match in coulours to create a perfect wrapping. ^^ Plus, for smaller gifts, I'm doing origami boxes, and they need certain time to be made. B - I don't have to wash the dishes thanks to it. (division of labour *nod nod*)
So, flat is clean. *looks at her productive working mess on working table* Almost.
So, all confectioneries candies, let's just say candies. that way I won't twist my tongue inside out are baked, they just need to be decorated. Which will take half a day, at least. And then, my relatives will pop out and it will be eaten within a while. *sob* XD

On top of everything, I was away this weekend.
Sleepover at my best friends from high school. (Girl only ride! *idiotic grin*) We shared dorm room for four years, and boy, how do I miss them. That weekend wasn't enough! They both study at different university, in faraway city right now, but every once in a year, we make some conspiratorial meeting. This one was connected with Christmas markets and workshops (oooh, that was so much fun, I still have glitters everywhere from creating own tree decorations ^^), visiting a château nearby (special Christmas program) and lots and lots of chatting and prattling and laughing. I haven't had such a good laugh for ages. Second evening, we ended up unfolding our own story, absolutely silly one, based on few slips of tongue and buch of clichés, and we continued way over midnight. I think we went to bed around 3 o'clock? Amazing.

So, I have no time to sit down and write something. I wanted to write some small sweet Christmas related Tintin story. *singing* Won't be able to make it. *speaking normally again* Aaand, I wanted to post new chapter of Moonshire Mystery, biggest part of which was written during a train ride, so it will take me some time to decipher while retyping into PC. XD Plus, I need to do few redos and brush some things to perfection. But mostly, due to the situation in which that part end, I think it will be safer to write another part as well. Since, I am sadist. But not that big. (I'll give you a hint, Unicorn, I have strange irrepressible tendencies to endanger characters I love most.)

BTW, how was Doomsday for you? I spend it cleaning and tidying.
Me (tidying the bath - still not sure how did I end up doing it) : Hmmm, shouldn't the Apocalypse be here soon?
Grandma (cleaning the living room) : Well, it already half past twelve and no comet in sight. Keep scrubbing.

Now, this is completely out of the blue.

But it is comming.
It is nearing with every second.
Getting closer and closer.
Waiting for the right moment to jump on you and overload you with that intrusive joyful mood.
It is inevitable.
And there is nothing you can do about it.

Christmas are around the corner!

Why? Let me explain. )

Yeah, Music Videos. ^^

I am huge fan of (Anime) Music Videos, I have tons of them. And when I say tons, I mean tons. There is over 13 GB (!) of those in my PC, and that's only my favorite ones. OK, I gather them for years, but still ... it would use a cleanup. (I am terrified to even think about it!)

The thing I love most about them, is that you can pay a tribute to certain shows/characters, you can tell their story from different angle (or make outright fun of it) or you simply introduce your obsession.
But you need to look hard to find the really good ones. And it is even harder to make one. So far, I've created one and it cost me so much nerves, since that frigging movie maker was failing constantly! So I am really proud of it. You could find it here if you really want. I might do another one, but I am short of ideas. And that's what you need most - good idea. 'Cause otherwise, the MV would be just ... dull.

I have seen many amazing MV for many fandoms of mine, so it is impossible to share them all. But prepare yourself, 'cause I'll put here some from time to time. (You'll laugh your ass off due to the cracktastic TOS Star Trek ones. ^.~ I promise.)

But for now, let the spotlight fall upon this!

Oh My Fangirl God, I friggin love this vid! The quality of footage is not the best and sometimes the timing kinda fails, but it is my most beloved MV for Tintin. And I would kill for this version of song. (I would play it over and over ... wait, I'm actually doing that!)
All credits goes to ItaxKisa. Hail to her.

Oh God, look at it!
I haven't been around the meme for two weeks and so many things had happened.
Why, just WHY you got in the way, Real Life?

Anyway, I have some difficulties to deal with right now, so ... duh.
Sorta in delay with my writing. (I wonder if I will finish my ghost story Tintin fanfic before Halloween. Probably not. But I'll post first part hopefully soon.)

I finally created a FanFiction account where I slowly repost my fictions. Stop by if you want.

Really, he must.
And I am not a believer.

Today, even though I didn't planned it, I just happen to be nearby, so I decided to stop there, I went to bookstore called "Cheap books". This shop make honour to its name, because various book like those printed some years ago, or last few pieces from stock, or (I strongly suspect that) those which didn't sell well are main merchandise there, and they are sold really cheap. But you cannot wait for too long, if you want something from this shop. (Yeah, no restocking. Once it is sold, it is sold for definitely.)And it is not a secondhand bookstore, all the books are (relatively) new and unused. It's great for christmas shopping.

And you can find real treasures there.
Which is what happened to me today.
So, now I am proud owner of "Shadows over Baker Street", fist czech edition printed in 2007, (of course in perfect shape) and it cost me only 17,- Czech crowns. Let me repeat: seventeen. It is less than 1 USD!

I feel fabulous! ^^

Today, alcohol prohibition was announced in my country!
I am not kidding.
There is a nasty case of methanol poisoning from adulterate alcohol all around my country (19 deads so far), so every alcoholic beverage above 20% volume is banned.
But still ...
Still ...
A Prohibition!
Even if it is not complete ban of everything alcoholic.
This is ... astonishing beyond believe.

I spent this weekend on family cottage. I love that place, it's relaxing to drop out from city to wild nature. And when I say wild nature I mean wild nature. It's not like our family cottage is on the edge of the world. It's more likely behind. Closest city is barely mile away, but you didn't seen the road.
I took my cat with me. Despite his name, my cat is pampered yellow-belly. To answer the question, I named him 'Lucifer'. And no, he is not black, he is ginger. When he was kitten he looked like blaze, but the red pigment just grew away. And he is total coward. I know it is cat's nature to be circumspect, but jumping twenty centimetres (8 inches) to the air just because someone in his near proximity unexpectedly moved ... WTF? He is afraid, among many other things, of: sudden movements, garden hosepipe, that curtain which hangs in main door of cottage, both of my nieces, vet, brushing, ... and dragonflies.
But to be honest, even I was afraid of that.
Now, I am a city girl, but I studied in small spa town. In summer heatwaves, sometimes the dragonflies from nearby brook (proudly called river by locals) used to fly really close to dormitory, sometimes even to balcony or inside. They were really beautiful colourful glittering gems. Small beautiful colourful glittering gems. Around an inch (2.5 cm).
That ... specimens which were fluttering around our garden were at least ten centimetres (4 inches) long! They were frigging huge! And there were four different kinds of them! I am used to the fact, that in our garden are fleshy spiders, so I don't look around much, but ... Is this normal size of dragonfly? I hope so, since the other possible explanation is that there are some mutagens in soil.
